The SDG Brass Band is starting the new year with a couple of worship schedules in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Our army of players is joined by many first-timers from the Phoenix area, including players from Maranatha Romanian Pentecostal Church (“Maranatha”), Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church (“Elim”) and Happy Valley Romanian Pentecostal Church.

Currently at about 100 players, the SDG Brass Band will continue giving praise ONLY for the Glory of God, with participants from many Churches from U.S.A. and Canada, including Chicago, Detroit, Kitchener, Houston, Missouri, and Phoenix.

To make a special event even more special, we will be joined by the Men Choir Laudă Mielului (led by fr. Sami Prelipceanu and having participants from the West Coast) who wil reinforce the brass (and winds) sounds with the original God-designed instruments – voices!

Through the grace of God and together with our steadfast speaker – fr. Valentin Popovici, we will have the opportunity to praise our Lord, Jesus Christ, for the first time ever in Phoenix as follows:

• Maranatha – 4026 West Acoma Dr., Phoenix, Arizona 85053 – starting at 9:00 am on Sunday morning; and

• Elim – 1749 West Cortez Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85029 – starting at 5:00 pm on Sunday afternoon.

These special events are our answer to the kind and warm invitation received from fr. Nelu Filip, pastor of Maranatha, and from our new friends at Elim. Last, and certainly not least, we are extremely grateful for the assistance provided by fr. Octavian Doboș, one of our local and great supporters, in facilitating and coordinating the events.
